ABOUT prefrontal vortex

Prefrontal Vortex (PFV) is the creative alias of Cooki Aimee, a non-binary queer artist with a passion for jewelry design. Drawing from a background in costume design and music production for projects like Desire Path and Strange Stains.

Currently making bespoke one-off handmade silver jewellery and have been selling within my community with the brand name Prefrontal Vortex.

My jewellery practice is made from lost wax, casting into sterling silver and yellow brass. I am beginning to set gemstones into my pieces. I make rings, earrings, necklaces, toe rings and more.

I want to make jewellery for people with arthritis such as my mum. I feel like adjustable jewellery has a cheap reputation and I want to change this by creating beautiful adjustable bespoke pieces made with ethically sourced stones and sterling silver.
